  New year, new we , they say.  2023 made a lot of memories. From January 1st 'till the very end, December 31st. A lot of things happened, such as transitioning from being a junior high school student to a high school student here in SMA Negeri 3 Bandung.  Starting a new year, I would like reflect back on myself to see if I had any progress or degradation on myself. Here's what I came up with: Things that I need to fix: 1. My sleep schedule. Ever since I went to high school, my sleep schedule became a total chaos. I tend to feel sleepy at day yet finds it difficult to sleep at night. This chaotic slumber routine affects me emotionally and physically.  2. My screen time. I use my phone too much. It made me lack of sleep, caused a lot of headaches, and so much more. 3. Being doubtful & scared to fail. These two things are holding me back from such great opportunities. 4. Procrastination.      French toast is a dish of sliced bread soaked in beaten eggs and often milk or cream, then pan fried.      The earliest recorded record for a dish resembling French toast was discovered in a 4th-century Roman cookbook by Marcus Gabius Apicius called "Cooking and Dining in Imperial Rome." The recipe is called aliter dulcia (translation: "another sweet dish") and describes pieces of crustless white bread that are soaked in milk and beaten egg, then fried in oil and doused with honey. The dish spread througout the 14th Century. At that time, an English cookbook titled "Forme of Cury" describes "payn fondue" as bread that has been soaked in wine, fried in grease and sweetened with dry fruit, spices, and sugar. By 1615, "panperdy" was printed in "The English Huswife" cookbook. In it, sliced bread was soaked in eggs and several spices plus sugar and salt.             Jendi Pangabean Akmal is a 32 year old swimmer who was born on June 10th 1991 in Muara Enim, Sumatera Selatan, Indonesia, which makes him Indonesian. He is called 'the eel' for his fast and agile swim.              R eturning  a few years earlier when he was 12, he lost his leg due to a motorcycle accident. He lost a lot of blood so the doctors decided to amputate him. Regardless, that never held him back. He did not sink under the circumstances. He was able to build confidence when he learned about para swimming. Swimming had been a passion of him since childhood. He also used to swim in the rivers back home.             Yang Jungwon, Enhypen's leader and main vocalist pursued his Taekwondo career before he became a singer in 2020. He started Taekwondo at 7 years old. As a kid, Jungwon competed in Korea’s national sport, Taekwondo, a martial art whose central tenets are courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. He did Taekwondo for 7 years and became an athlete for 4 years. He also has a black belt.
