2024 Resolution
New year, new we, they say.
2023 made a lot of memories. From January 1st 'till the very end, December 31st. A lot of things happened, such as transitioning from being a junior high school student to a high school student here in SMA Negeri 3 Bandung.
Starting a new year, I would like reflect back on myself to see if I had any progress or degradation on myself. Here's what I came up with:
Things that I need to fix:
1. My sleep schedule. Ever since I went to high school, my sleep schedule became a total chaos. I tend to feel sleepy at day yet finds it difficult to sleep at night. This chaotic slumber routine affects me emotionally and physically.
2. My screen time. I use my phone too much. It made me lack of sleep, caused a lot of headaches, and so much more.
3. Being doubtful & scared to fail. These two things are holding me back from such great opportunities.
4. Procrastination. Procrastinating leads to homeworks piling up like a big mountain and messes up my other schedules.
Things that I have achieved:
1. Made new friends.
2. Some non-academic accomplishments such as achieving a gold medal, silvers, and bronzes on my latest gymnastics competition.
3. Joining new extracurriculars.
4. Survived 2023 with one semester in SMA Negeri 3 Bandung.
I am very grateful of the things that I have achieved in 2023, and I will continue on my journey, creating progress day by day. Starting from small steps 'till it evolves into bigger and stronger steps. By that, I made a resolution for myself in 2024 to become a better, decent, and courageous person for the long run.
My 2024 Resolution:
1. Live a healthier lifestyle. As a student athlete, having a healthy lifestyle is a must. I need enough rest and energy throughout my daily routine. Reducing phone usage could be my first step.
2. Bare patience, solve every problem with a presence of mind. Be better at controlling emotions.
3. Do tasks as soon as possible. The stress in working on something 5 minutes near the deadline is real.
4. Pray more. Every prayer heals.
5. Maintain my non-academic achievements. I want to be better at my sport.
6. Not caring too much about what others think.
Hopefully, I'll give off a fresh start for this year. Starting from this month, January.
